Early Neurological Stimulation
ENS training is during the first three weeks of a puppies life. This time is a crucial period during a puppies development when they are going through rapid neurological development. Interaction is through touch at least twice daily during this period. Here is a good article for more information.
Early Scent Introduction
ESI is similar to ENS in that is is conducted during days 3-16 of life. It is a curriculum designed to introduce the puppy to a variety of scents early in life in order to make them more aware and alert as adults. Many times in therapy or service dogs, this is a required or at least helpful attribute of dogs.
